The Fellowship of the Tabula Rasa
We are the blank slate that is not - and shall not be - written upon. Ours is one of the most difficult paths of all in Puddleby, that of unprofessioned exile. All residents of the Lok'Groton Isles start on this path, but very few are those who have the inclination or strength to forever remain on it. For ours is a path more challenging than the mystic, far poorer than the fighter, and much less respected than the healer.
We face constant hardship, for we lack access to many trainers and resources that those in the three traditional professions have. We face constant pressure from those around us, to choose to be a healer or fighter or mystic. We face assumptions that we are seekers on the mystic path, and presumptions that we have not yet been accepted into the ranks of the apprentice mystics. We are derided as being weak, and "more useless than mystics." We have little in the way of knowledge about own abilities and limitations as the unprofessioned, for there are few others around to tell us these things. It is for these reasons that we, the unprofessioned exiles of Puddleby, are banding together in the clan known as any clan, to offer our mutual support, friendship, and accumulated wisdom to those who are like us.

Members
Joining
Requirements for membership to any clan are reasonably basic, and the following is a guideline only. The applicant must be unprofessioned, and not currently seeking placement in the fighter, healer, or mystic guilds. We do not base our membership on numbers of lessons or ranks earned, however, to prove the applicant's commitment to the unprofessioned path, we only consider those who have obtained the title of Master or Mistress. Meeting these requirement does not grant immediate entry. The applicant must be found by the current members to be like-minded, and doing their best for the betterment of unprofessioned exiles. If you fit these criteria, there is a good chance you will be approached to join, should you not be in a clan already.
